Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this. Please note that I am a working Solicitor and may be on and offline as I have to attend Court and meet with clients, even at weekends. As such you may not get an instant response when you reply as this is not an ‘on demand’ live service, but rest assured I will be giving your question my immediate attention upon return. There is no need to wait here, you will get an email when I reply.
Was the Judgment in the name of a normal trade creditor?
If so, did you have a personal guarantee at all please?
It was a company that I did work for and there was no personal guarantee
In that case you are NOT personally liable
The whole point of a Limited Company is that it is there to protect you
As such if that is dissolved then any debt you are NOT personally liable for unless you agreed
No personal guarantee - no debt to you
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
who do I contact regarding this judgement and what do I hell them
Is it in your personal name? If so you apply to set it aside at Court
If it is in the name of the Company you dont need to do anything
Does that help?
It is not in my personal name it is in the name of the company ,but what about beiliffs, what if they come calling , what do I tell them?
You dont need to do anything
Bailiffs can't do anything as it is all in the name of the Company
Its a Company debt - there is nothing personal on you
