Hi
How much is the house worth and how much is outstanding on the mortgage?
Clare
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

why does it matter what the house is worth?

Expert:  Clare replied 2 years ago.
Hi
Because it means I can give you more detailed information - but it is up to you.
As things stand since you are a joint owner of the property you are entitled to return there whenever you wish - and can break in of necessary.
Alternatively you can get a locksmith to change the locks and dimply give your ex a key.
he has no right to exclude you from the property - and if he uses violence to try to do so you can apply for an Occupation Order excluding him from the property
Please ask if you need further details

Hi
Did you sign anything at the time stating what share of the property you would be entitled to?
