Hi
Thank you for your question.
My name is Clare
I will do my best to help you but I need some further information first.
When was the Order made?
Did you attend the hearing?
How old are the children?

It was made in October last year. Yes I did attend the hearing. There are 2 children, aged 12 and 8. It is a very long story. It ended with me grabbing my ex wife's father. No one was hurt. Her story of events and her fathers were different to mine, which was pointed out by the police and clearly fabricated. However I did admit to grabbing him and was cautioned. She was given quite a grilling at court

Hi
May I ask - did the Order not allow for you to arrange contact regarding the children - usually via a solicitor?

No the advice that I was given was that to contest it would cost between 10-12k plus the children would have to be interviewed which I really didn't want to happen as none of this was their fault

Hi
Who gave you that advice?
Clare
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
The judge at the court

Hi
That related to fighting the Order itself.
Looking at the order is there no wording that allows you to communicate with your ex via a solicitor regarding the children?
What does the Order actually say?
