Hello my name is Alex and I will help you with this.
For now please let me know if the dog was under control at the time?
But they couldnt describe the dogs or say they were yours?
we have one dog and because it was loose at the time and some one saw a black dog they are sure its him
In that case you don't have to pay
If it went to Court they would have to show that it was your dog
All they have is a witness saying its a black dog
There is no evidence it was yours, coming from your garden or that indeed it looked like yours
Therefore you do not have to pay
If they try and sue they would need evidence to show the above
I would suggest though making the dog secure so you know that it does not escape.
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
