Dear Sirs I am a British citizen, but live part of the year

Resolved Question:

Dear Sirs
I am a British citizen, but live part of the year in New Zealand, where my daughter resides.
I have made a will out in New Zealand for the part of my estate that is in New Zealand. I wish to make another will to cover my estate in the UK.
Will both wills be valid?
Thanking you

Hello,

Yes, both Wills will be valid. I would advise you to include statements in the NZ Will that you wish it to be governed under NZ law and the English/UK Will that you wish it to be governed under English law.

May I help further?
