I had a contract on a piece of freehold land and had paid a deposit on this whereby upon a certain timescale I completed the transaction for a further £1, however the company selling the land went into administration/liquidation therefore in order for my completion to be completed I had to apply for a land vesting order. This has now been granted, and now I have asked my solicitor to act for me to sell the land on however they advise me that there is a charge on the land from the previous sellers mortgagee(the company that went into administration/liquidation), would this charge not of been cancelled out by the vesting order?
Ok any idea on timescale?
At what point do I get a refund?
