Iam the executer of my partners will.Ihave employed a soliciter to apply for probate on my partners estate.my partner is a us citizen domicel in the uk.He also has a will& estate in the us we have a joint B/account plus he has a retirerment account(his family are the benifactors of the retirment acc. MYQuestion is can the soliciter make finacial gain on both estate?

Yes, if the fee is agreed in advance with you and if the solicitor does work on the US estate. If you do not agree to the solicitor doing work on the US estate, you should say so and inform them that you do not agree to paying legal fees in connection with that estate.
