Is my house at risk if my husband (of 6yrs) is receiving demands,

Customer Question

Is my house at risk if my husband (of 6yrs) is receiving demands, for payment of HMRC fines(from their Sols), for not submitting tax returns, for the past 2yrs?
The house we live in, I bought 14yrs ago & his name does not appear on the deeds nor mortgage. Everything is in my name, and we do not have any joint bank accounts.
Thanks
Helen

Thank you for your question.
Your house is not at risk as he has no title to it. You are not responsible for your husband's debts and your house and personal accounts are yours.
Please leave a positive response so that I am credited for my time.
