Customer Question

I have recently closed down my Limited Company however due to confusion between my accountant form DS01 was sent off before it should have been resulting in the remaining monies in the Corporate Account being withdrawn by the Treasury.
Please can you advise if this is a case of a Legal Letter to the Treasury.
Thanks,
Stuart Hodgson

Alex Watts :

Hello Stuart my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

Alex Watts :

What you should do is apply to the Court to restore the Company to the Register.

Alex Watts :

Once that is done then you can do with the monies as you wish.

Alex Watts :

Then and only then can you close the Company.

Alex Watts :

I am quite surprised through as the first dissolution notice to final dissolution is normally a couple of months.

Alex Watts :

So your accountant had 2 months to close the account and take the money out.

Alex Watts :

But you need to restore the Company to get access to that money

Alex Watts :

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
