My daughter's were taken off my partner and I 9 months ago,

Customer Question

My daughter's were taken off my partner and I 9 months ago, we have worked with them the while 9 months past drug tests etc, my oldest daughter aged 11 was placed with my mum, my youngest was placed with my partners mum which I was unhappy about as I knew she is mental health problem and has had a violent past, I knew for a fact she would never be violent to my little girl though so I allowed it but was unhappy, the social worker picked this up at a meeting g and asked what my problem was wiv her , I answered if I told you you would take my daughter off her , hopeing she would get what I was saying hit the social worker chose to ignore what I had said, anyway just before Xmas my partners mum attacked and punched her sister with my daughter there , I told the social services and they put my youngest in the care with my mum and my oldest daughter . I am now happy as she is safe but very dissapointed in social services for not picking up on certain things, we have agreed to drug testing , attending a triple p programme and had a independant psychiatric report done as social services wanted this reassurance before rehabilitation as I have been diagnosed with unstable emotional personally disorder, but the social services were told my mental health we compromised by cocaine and binge drinking 10 months ago, I have been clean for 10 months, my partner had a psychiatric report beacise he was a cannabis smoker but had been clean 10 months also, basically the social services have no more concerns and are rehabilating next week so in a month my kids can hav over night stays, my question isthos, my mum is having a operation on her knee next week and will be on crutches for 6 week s so there is no way she can look after my youngest , can I take my daughter back home permanently and not agree to rehabilitation? Will they honestly take me to court for the sake of a month? I have still agreed to go to triple p, take regular drugs tests and have home visits so can they take me to court just for not rehabilating? My youngest is suffering mentally as she is confused as to why she is not allowed home or to even step foot in her home she crystals every night, I want to protect my daughter and I feel that taking her home now is the right thing to do for her
