Alex Watts : my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
Alex Watts : Do you have a signed contract with the utility company?
JACUSTOMER-a9wu0gq7- :

..no contract

JACUSTOMER-a9wu0gq7- :

The stolen plant in hired from a plant hire firm....not the utility company we do the work for...ok

Alex Watts :

Then you dont need to worry in that case you are not liable.

Alex Watts :

Ok - who hired the plant? You or the utility company?

JACUSTOMER-a9wu0gq7- :

they hire the plant that we need from a no of hire firms at a discount...we then pay weekly hire

Alex Watts :

Ok. You dont need to worry.

Alex Watts :

Unless you were negligent or there was a contract in which you agreed to be liable, then you cant be

Alex Watts :

They can only claim against you if there is a contract agreed which says you would be liable

Alex Watts :

Can I clarify anything about this today please?
