Resolved Question:

I moved in with daughter & her husband 2011 after selling my home to retire from work due to medical problems. This being at their insistence. I paid off their mortgage same year with a promised they were selling up to buy bigger property of us. This didn't happen and living situation became unbearable & was told to leave which I did but had to insist they pay back monies to enable me to purchase a house. They were very unhappy about this saying I should rent but eventually £80,000 was repaid & I moved out Feb 2013. I am still owed £27,000 but haven't received anything else. Needless to say the relationship has broken down & I haven't seen my daughter in almost 2yrs. I didn't obtain written agreement stating I repaid their mortgage but have bank statements & mortgage company's details showing monies transferred from my acct to mortgage company. What can I do to get the rest of my money back?

Thank you .
The starting point is a written request return of your funds.
If (when) that fails then you can sue your daughter and her husband using Money Claim online
https://www.gov.uk/make-money-claim-online
You have clear evidence that you paid the money - and that it was not a gift.
