I got into an argument with a train guard on Friday night

Resolved Question:

Hi
I got into an argument with a train guard on Friday night about his, in my view, aggressive behaviour towards another passenger without a ticket. The guard then subsequently informed me that he had informed the police and that they will meet me at the next station. When I left the train, no police offers were present and I returned home. I had a few drinks earlier in the night and my memory of the incident is very limited.
Can you please advise if I should now contact British Transport Police?
Many thanks

Alex Watts : They will need to know which train so where and when etx.
Alex Watts : They can then investigate the matter and you Could be called as a witness.
Alex Watts : Otherwise you can just choose to leave the matter be.
