Have you heard from the court about a new hearing date yet?
Hello, I am a solicitor with 20 years experience. I will try to help you with this.
As far as the bailiffs are concerned you should call them and explain the situation. If that is inconclusive you should contact the court and get something in writing about the conviction being set aside and send it to Marstons.
This practical advice rather than legal but it is what you should do.
Not heard from court since. I`ll ring them.
Yes that is a good idea but get something in writing to send to the bailiffs.
Ive got an email from the court saying they informed the finance people to close the account following the statutory declaration. They resent that insyruction today. I forwarded s copy of this email and the statutory declaration to both the finance dept and the bailifs office and asked them to confirm the action they take. Ill wait and see now. No new case was instigated
Good. That sounds you like you are very close to resolving this.
