Is an Enduring Power of Attorney the same thing as a Lasting

Resolved Question:

Hello and thanks for using Just Answer.

My name is ***** ***** am happy to assist you with your enquiry.

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) replaced Enduring Power of Attorneys a few years ago.

So, both do the same thing more or less, but the documents are in a different format, and if you wanted to appoint an Attorney now, you would use an LPA.

Please let me know if you require any further clarification.

Kind Regards

Al
