Hello Polly,

We can only communicate online. If you have not previosuly set for the Life in the UK test, you will need to sit it as well as the English language test.

May I help further?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I am well conversant with both my writing and spoken English. In full time work, I got leaners direct certificates in English language levels 2 & 3. Why the life in UK For? Does The indefinite guarantee automatic free to apply?

Expert:  UKSolicitorJA replied 2 years ago.
The Knowlgedge of English Language and Life in the UK test is compulsory for everyone wishing to apply for British Citizenship now, unless an exemption applies:

  • individuals aged 65 or older; and
  • individuals with a disability.

All the best
