Hi
Social Services have misled you and you are entitled to attend any and all meetings regarding your daughter - which will routinely last at least an hour.
In addition they HAVE to complete a viability assessment on you to consider you as a carer for your daughter.
I cannot say whether or not such an assessment woudl be successful as I do not know sufficient about your mental Health or your daughter's needs.
However I DO know that you are entitled to be assessed and to be involved and you have a clear case to complain about what has happened
You shoudl speak to the Line Manager of your child's Social Worker and point out that the there has been a fundamental failure to involve you and ask when the assessment will be done.
