Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
For now please let me know whether the flat is included in the current lease?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Please assume planning permission to convert to apartment is obtained ,
The question is have I got automatic right to renew my lease with the freeholder
Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
You would need to get the lease amended. There is no automatic right unless the current lease gives you a right to renew.
So you need to get it amended to reflect the new status.
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

Not sure if I have explained the situation
Clearly enough.
Given that the planning is obtained my question is like any residential leases have I got the right to renew my lease ?
Kind regards
Kamran

For residential in place I can ask for lease extention even if freeholder
Does not want to extend the lease
Thank you
Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
Yes you can seek an extension.
Does that clarify?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes this clarifies the situation
But in your earlier email you said there is no automatic right to extend the lease
Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
For the commercial element.
Does that help?
Alex
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
You are not clear to me .
A. One commercial lease
B. 60 years remaining
C. Planning permission is granted to turn the office ( commercial lease)
To residential
Please let me know ,given above I have the right of automatic lease renewal like as if it was residential lease with 60 years remaining
Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
