I bought a digital book via internet and downloaded the book.

Resolved Question:

I bought a digital book via internet and downloaded the book. I am completely happy with it. But now I'm being sent unordered product (pills) from USA that cost $79.99 monthly and attract a further £30.25 in UK customs. I have cancelled the order and arranged for returns of unwanted goods so far. But I don't believe that they will stop the monthly process. Am I within my rights to ask my Debit Card issuer not to make any further payments to this company?

Alex Watts :

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.

Alex Watts :

Yes you are entitled to cancel the order and cancel your instruction to the card issuer.

Alex Watts :

However to be 100% sure I would ALSO cancel your debit card and get a replacement

Alex Watts :

That way there is no way they can further charge your card.

Alex Watts :

But yes cancel the instruction with your bank and cancel the card.

Alex Watts :

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
