Fees to be paid with allocation questionnaire, small claims

Customer Question

Fees to be paid with allocation questionnaire, small claims track, value of the claim £5000
I am the Claimant. I have gone through updated EX50 from HMCTS re fees. I would be grateful if you could inform me of the exact fee payable with the allocation questionnaire. I appreciate your time and experience is used on more important issues however I find EX50 a little confusing .. Thank you

My name is ***** ***** I'm happy to help with your question today.
For the small claim track for a claim worth more than £3,000 the fee is £335.
Please see page 5 of the fees booklet.

Thank you for your reply. I have already paid the fees for the claim. I have been asked to complete and return directions questionnaire , but is is unclear if there is a fee and if so the exact amount

Understood. Is the claim being defended? Have you received a defence? Is the matter definitely going to trial?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Claim is being defended.Likely that it will get settled at mediation. I have recieved a defence and replied to defence

Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
There is no allocating fee to be paid with the directions questionnaire (used to be called allocation questionnaire)
However if the matter proceeds to trial there will be a hearing fee payable.
But no fee for allocation to small claim.
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?
