A beloved family member intend to have me inherit a part-share

Resolved Question:

A beloved family member intend to have me inherit a part-share of his house (mortgage & debt free) in UK. However, the land on which it is built will go to somebody else? My question is....... Is it any use to inherit part of a house if one does not inherit the land on which it is built? Thank you for your kind response

Hi thanks for your question. My name is***** can answer this.

This would be very odd ... In short, the answer is no, it would be of no practical use ot have the house without the land on which it stands.
