The Court sent me as McKenzie Friend the Judgement

Customer Question

The Court sent me as McKenzie Friend the Judgement for Claimant (N30) which instructed the Defendant to pay the claimant the debt.
I am panicing! As the Court sent the Claimant the ‘Judgement for Claimant’ I assumed that the Court would also send the Defendant the ‘Judgement for Claimant’. Or is it that actually it is the Claimant’s responsibility to ensure that the Defendant receives a copy of the judgement?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you with this.
Were you with Claimant or Defendant please?

With the Claimant

Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
Ok, the Court will send a copy to the Defendant, you do not need to worry.
The Court sends Court orders to both sides.
Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

Great News. Can I ask for a copy of this from the Court to reference and include as an Exhibit in my Witness Statement?

Thanks Pete

Expert:  Ash replied 2 years ago.
No, it will be on the Court file automatically.
The Court will have the date it was sent to the other side.
