Hi three people were dismissed from work. The Union rep didn't let them resign stating they should fight this and they would win. He said he would attend the tribunal. On the day he didn't turn up, switched off his phone until the tribunal was over. There was a second tribunal, again he didn't give a statement and switched off his phone. When we complained it became apparent he had informed the Respondents he didn't stand by the statement our solicitor had mistakenly sent in the skeleton statement. Before the mistaken statement he had asked me to make a skeleton of a statement and said he would fix it. It took him nearly a year to fix the statement. I sent it to the solicitor and asked the rep to get in touch with the solicitor he never did. He had given the Respondents a lifeline by telling them before the tribunal he wouldn't attend and didn't stand by the statement..We have tried to complain, but you can only complain about an official within his own company and they stand by their official. we were all paying our monthly fees. I hope you can help. Jayne
