Hello and thanks for using Just Answer.

My name is ***** ***** am happy to assist you with your enquiry.

As tenants in common:

  • you both own a separate share in the property
  • the property doesn’t automatically go to the other owner if you die
  • you can pass on your share of the property in your will to whoever you wish.
  • you can elect to hold 50% each in the property or any other percentage, as is agreed.

I hope this assists and answers your question.

Kind Regards

Al
