No, just the speeding according to the letter.

For a speed of 87 mph in a 70 zone you can expect 3 points and a fine.
There is a possibility of being offered the speed awareness course as an alternative to prosoecution but I think the speed is a little bit on the high side for that to happen.
But looking at sentencing guidelines I can see that the speed falls within the 3-point band,
If you receive a summons you can plead guilty by post and ask the court to deal with the case in your absence - but you will need to submit your plea early, with your driving licence and details of your income and outgoings.
