A website states in its customer service refund policy (clothing) all defective faulty goods will be refunded/replaced, but asks customers to carefully select and be responsible for ordering the correct size as ordering the wrong size does not attract/entitle a purchase refund

Thank you for your question.
The consumer contract regulations say that you can cancel an online order up to seven days from the day after you receive the goods. You don't have to give a reason. Underwear, earrings and personalised or made to measure goods and th like are excluded but other than this what the website you refer to says is not correct.
