one of our shareholders purchased the freehold of the block for £19000 4 years ago.We are looking into the possibility of collective enfranchisement . The block consists of 70 flats all with 999 year leases. It is managed by a RMC. He has not paid for any significant improvements to the property but has increased his income by charging for areas not previously charged for and increasing the rent of lockers. Would the price of the freehold have increased ?
