I have lived in my property 25 years. It has an extension built before I bought the house. It is built right up to the boundary line next to the garage of the next door property. My flat roof is lower than next door so the roof felt on mine curves round and is attached to his wall. This has never been a problem with previous neighbours but the new neighbour says I cannot attach to his wall as he wants a gap however small to prve we are not linked detached. He also wants me to remove the mortar which seals the vertical gap between our walls. Can he do this or does the length of time it has been there affect the issue David Rowley
