Ask a Law Question, Get an Answer ASAP!
I am away for the next 4 days. If the trespass continues during that time I will not be aware of it and thus angered by it so I guess I can wait. Since posing my question I have raised the matter with the police and an incident number has been recorded. The justification for breaking the law advanced for the first time yesterday was that I was doing likewise. He bases this on a misunderstanding of my title deeds which I have copied to him with an explanation based on solicitors advice of what they say. It is that I may park anywhere on driveway within the confines of my freehold provided that I do not obstruct the rights of way of others. That is what I have been careful to do. There is no right of way over the area claimed by me for parking.
