I am a publicly elected representative to the NHS Councillof

Customer Question

I am a publicly elected representative to the NHS Councillof Governors who have subsequently removed me from this position.
Is it within the power of the NHS Council to remove a Publicly Appointed Governor from office?
I would have thought that the only ones who could be in a position to remove me from office would be the electorate and nobody else.
This would be at the end of my term when I next came forward for re-election
Please let mehave yiur opinion o this.
