Hello. i wonder if you could kindly help me.
I work for a company called Anglophiles Academic. We employ a lot of temp summer staff. EFL teachers and Activity leaders for our summer camps. These people work for us for 2 to 6 weeks only.
my question is, how long are we required by UK law to keep a paper copy of their contracts on file.

1. The HMRC require you to keep records for a minimum of five years after the end of the tax year wherein the taxable event occurred. So I would suggest that you adopt apolicy of keeping all relevant employment contracts for a period of at least six years and possibly seven, just in case something might arise subsequently.
