Can a correction of age made in a subsequent Nigerian

Resolved Question:

Can a correction of age (change of date of birth) made in a subsequent Nigerian passport re-issued after the original passport expired (and there was a change to a newly introduced multi-national, ECOWAS BLOCK, unified passport) be an issue in a visa application if the former passport that has expired had been used to obtain UK visas in the past?

1. I regret to say that this would definitely be an issue. Essentially all of the details concerning this person will be stored under the original age and date of birth. So evidence would have to be submitted with any visa application to show why the change of date of birth occurred and why the original visa application in the UK was made under a false date of birth and age. It is a criminal offence to provide false details on a visa application.
