my mum died suddenly and i am 18 and a student will i be able to get legal aid for the solicitors dealing with becoming my mums executor my mum didnt have a will or any money only her death insurance which i dont have yet

Thank you for your question. You may qualify for legal aid for this but legal aid is only a type of loan. Once the insurance proceeds are recovered the legal costs will be deducted from the proceeds.
So a solicitor might be prepared to act on a speculative basis on the presumption that the proceeds will cover the costs and legal aid might not be needed.
