Hi,
Thank you for your question and welcome.
My name is ***** ***** I will assist you.
Unlike trade mark and patent there is no formal process for registering copyright.
Copyright is the protection of the recorded expression of an idea. If you want to protect these routines, you will be obtaining copying only in how they recorded i.e the drawing and written instructions. If someone uses the drawings or written instructions in their classes without your permission, then they may be in breach of copyright.
The idea of making the drawings and sending them to lawyer (or even yourself) could be used to prove copyright should any one infringe your copyright. You would have make sure the letter remained sealed and was sent by recorded delivery so it was dated.
The other way to protect your concept is to build up a specific branding or local that is attributable to your concept, so that when people think of that logo they think of your stretching method.
Kind regards
AJ

Hi,
Sorry - auto correct did not help me there local should say "logo".
If you would like to discuss this any further please do not hesitate to contact me.
For your reference this is the law that explains what copyright is and how it is protected - http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1988/48/contents
I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards
