HiThank you for your questionMy name is ***** ***** do my best to help you but I need some further 9information firstCould you explain a little more about the situation please
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

My dad died on 26th June 2014 he left his house and income from a trust to my step mother for her life time with the benificeries of the trust my self and 3 siblings. A codicil was rewritten with out discussion with my younger brother and myself. We have had no site of this which has made my step brother in law a trustee which I know was not my dad's intention. My elder brother is an executor of the will and gives my other brother and myself little or no information. The estate is worth 1.6 million and the chief executor has give the 8 grand children £1000 each despite my dad leaving them only £100 each. We are still awaiting our £5000 from the will but had an email indicating that there could be problems finding this money. I am confused as to what my rights are at this stage my step mother is yet to recieve any income from the estate.

Hi
For clarity - did you say one of the Codicils is not visible?
Clare
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Yes only one is visible

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

yes that is correct one is not visible

Expert:  Clare replied 1 year ago.
Does the probate refer to two?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Yes it does

Expert:  Clare replied 1 year ago.
have you queried that with the Registry?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Yes I have just done so

Expert:  Clare replied 1 year ago.
Once you have that then we can go forward
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Well I won't get a response till tomorrow at the earliest - We I feel we are getting lost in this codicil we want to know where we stand re the exsecutors and lack of information about how things are going we are shut out of information. The head executor says our brother has to tell us but he wont and the chiefexecutor has the attitude of tough then. We have written to both of them with no response.

Based on the Will and the Codicil is the £5000 all you are entitled to immediately?Looking at the probate what is the net value of the estate?
