If: -I have tenancy agreement AST house number

Resolved Question:

Hello, If: -I have tenancy agreement AST for a house number 1 - but I do rent another house as well, house number 2 - my primary address is at the house number 1 My question is can the landlord of the house number 1 break the locks, throw all my belongings
out and claim that this is not illegal eviction?

Hi, thanks for your question. I am a qualified solicitor.
As long as you have a tenancy for house 2, the landlord cannot change the locks until after an eviction notice is executed. He cannot throw away your belongings as this is your property and you will have a right to claim compensation for any belongings thrown away or damaged.
