My original claim was for £2,000 plus £154 interest,

Customer Question

My original claim was for £2,000 plus £154 interest, calculated from 3/1/14 to 18/12/14, this claim was accepted by the court at the time of issue. The hearing was in June 2015 and the defendant finally paid in July, more than four weeks late. This total
amount is what I want, not from the time of judgement.

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will help you.
Did you plead interest on your claim form? Did the Court allow interest?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I sent you a copy of the original claim for showing my claim plus interest. The judge awarded me £1,000 plus some costs but either forgot or ignored the interest. I want to know whether I can claim that in a separate claim.

No.
You would need to appeal that older claim. You can't re-litigate on decided matters.
I am sorry.
Can I clarify anything else for you?
