One question on the Immigration Application process. I am British

Customer Question

One question on the Immigration Application process. I am British and my wife is Chinese. We intend for her to join me in the UK. I see that I have to prove that I earn over £18,600. Will the Home Office accept my HMRC Tax Returns as sufficient proof that I earn comfortably more than this figure or will it invariably demand more information such as bank statements?
