A vendor sold freehold property in Nov 2014 for £ 790,000 Cash

Customer Question

A vendor sold freehold property in Nov 2014 for £ 790,000 Cash stating Japanese Knot weed on TA6 as "not known". In Jul 2015 the garden is showing widespread growth of the weed. The neighbour has stated in writing that the Vendor had removed the weed from his and the neighbour's property. The total cost of purchase was £ 900,000. Can this contract be reversed legally and the purchase price be recovered?
