A year ago I bought a sited caravan from an English person

Resolved Question:

a year ago I bought a sited caravan from an English person in France. Amount paid £5436.00 There was a flood disaster a few months ago and 500 caravans got destroyed one of them was mine. The insurance company want proof of purchase the receipt was in the caravan which got destroyed. I have ask for a copy and she refuses to supply one What do I do.

I don't know My point its a simple job to write out a copy receipt ???

I agree. Whilst its a legal requirement to give you a receipt in the first place its not a legal requirement to give you a replacement.
What you would need to do sadly if they refuse is to seek a Court order requiring them to provide one. Once there is a Court order they cant refuse as this would be contempt of Court.
