My husband to be, just lost his house, and has to pay a court Judgment 45,000 before 5th feb. He does not have that money and is 20,000 short, failing to pay the above amount he is going to prison for 18months, He has worried himself sick . Is there any way to keep him
out of prison. Please help, he has tried to borrow but is unable to find a Lender. He lives in Glasgow, Scotland

He can't be sent to prison for a debt. What makes him think otherwise?

he has defaulted on his mortgage,did not go to court when asked, got letter from court to say he must pay all arrears with 30 days, Due to a delay by a secondary bank the funds forwarded to him by me arrived 2 days late. Went to bank to Pay, they said out of their hands now, went to court to pay ,court did not accept payment either, got another letter asking for an additional 5,000 because previous dateline not kept. Now he has received a court Judgment to pay 45,000 or go to prison, he is 20.000 short has tried to borrow money but cant find a lender,

what shall I do, stay on line, I also made payment earlier of 92.00 was told to give my email address, but the email address was not accepted as it was used on an earlier occassion., would the payment have gone onto my credit card. I dont understand any of this.
