Customer Question

My partner and I are considering marriage. She is a divorcee with her own pension pot that was allocated on the divorce. She has a consent order. Will her marriage affect her pension rights?

Is somebody going to talk to me
Expert:  Clare replied 1 year ago.
Hi
My apologies for the delay - I was unexpectedly offline!
Since it was a Pension sharing order and all has now been dealt with then her re-marriage will not change anything - or at least only in the same way that it would effect any pension!
Please ask if you need further details
Clare
( This does assume that the original Order is not challenged of course)
