HiThank you for your questionMy name is ***** ***** I am sorry for your loss.I shall do my best to help you but I need some further information firstWere they all purchased with joint funds?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. We just put cash together to purchase items. His children know of this. They are just asking for his half of the money when the goods are sold. I don't want to sell the goods. I assumed that the goods were our property and had nothing to do with them. On my partners death I thought they would all become mine.

HiIn that case they were indeed purchased from joint funds, they were jointly owned and became yours on his death. His children cannot force you to sell them - and would have no claim on any funds if you did sell them!I am sorry that you are having to cope with this as well as your lossPlease ask if you need further detailsClare
