I wonder if you can help?I have been summarily dismissed

Customer Question

Hello, I wonder if you can help?
I have been summarily dismissed from my workplace of over 20 years, for posting a message in a free paper (in a specific section for 'Rush Hour Crushes') asking if a person whom I had seen regularly would be interested in a date.
I handed her the paper and asked her to check the particular page.
There was no suggestive or inappropriate comments, nor any other contact, yet a complaint was made to the company.
The following day, I was told that this constituted harassment and led to my summary dismissal for gross misconduct.
What can I do, please?

Hello, yesterday morning.

I have lodged an appeal, but from experience I have noted that very few are upheld in favour of the employee, over the last 20 yars.
