Customer Question

Re, The Sale and Supply of Services Act 1982
In a hotel, when the next door room neighbours are noisy, is it acceptable for the hotel to fail to get them to be quiet, then move us to another noisy room, only this time because of air conditioning?

Noise from next door in small hours
Noise continued after informing reception 3 times in night
Night receptionist rang them and also says he told them in person, but we think that’s not true
Moved about 2 a.m. to another room, which itself was noisy because of external air conditioning units on the walls

2 without prejudice letters sent-does that matter?
What are my possible costs if lose?
There are three possible witnesses for the other side, but are they allowed to attend court, or does the judge just read the case and decide it on his own?
