Hello. Thank you for your question. My name is ***** ***** I can assist with this.There is no legal restriction upon a carer from accepting a gift in a will. Only you know whether it is appropriate to accept it, but maybe you should have a conversation with other family members and gauge their views.

So long as you did not witness the will then legally you should be entitled to inherit so long as the deceased had capacity etc.
