Are you enhanced level DBS checked?

Do you know whether you are basic or standard checked?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry I have no idea. I haven't been asked to disclose any convictions yet but I expect that question to come.
Expert:  Jo C. replied 1 year ago.
The short answer is that it depends on the level of your checking. If you received a community order then this would have long since been spent and so dropped off basic checking. It would still show on standard though as it is a conviction that is exempt from the stepping down procedure. It is likely that you are only basic checked if at all but obviously I cannot guarantee it. Can I clarify anything for you? Jo

It is possible you would be standard checked. You are in a position of responsibility.
