Can you explain your situation a little more?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Hi Jo. First can I ask if I am operating under client confidentiality? Thanks
Expert:  Jo C. replied 1 year ago.
No. This is a public site and your posts are visible to the public at large.

Does my name appear? Essentially I want to know if I receive a by post, a medicine which is banned in the UK am I legally responsible for "importing" it - I would not be paying.

You should be anonymous. Why did they deliver to you?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
they haven't yet. a friend from abroad on a long-haul trip is visiting and needs their medication
Expert:  Jo C. replied 1 year ago.
Ok, but I presume that you will solicit these items?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not sure what soliciting means in this sense. They have asked if they can use my address and name
Expert:  Jo C. replied 1 year ago.
There are potentially offences in that.Possession of prescribed goods without a prescription is one that I can think of offhand.Don't get involved with this. If people want to use your address for something there is usually a good reason why they are not using their own.Can I clarify anything for you?Jo

Thanks for your advice. Sounds sensible. Are you able to offer an opinion on the likelihood of post being checked?
Expert:  Jo C. replied 1 year ago.
Not really. It depends on so many factors not least the efficiency of the postal service.I wouldn't get involved in this though. There is only risk to you and no benefit.

No problem. All the best.
