The branches are trespass and if the neighbour will not remove them, you are entitled to cut them off but not keep them. If you keep the branches there throw the pieces away, that is potentially theft which is a criminal offence.Many neighbours will take exception if you unceremoniously the branches over the fence so you might want to ask what the neighbour wants you to do with the branches.You need to be careful if the tree is deciduous because it may have a tree preservation order which you may fall foul of.If you are not able to cut the tree branches yourself for any reason there are simply not willing to do so, you can employ a contractor to do the job and then seek the money from the neighbour.You must not do anything that harms the tree in any way but is likely to kill it.Can I clarify anything for you?Please don’t forget to rate the service positive.
