Customer Question

A car that was leased to me personally was caught by a speeding camera in Nov 2015. I visited the station at that time and told the police that the vehicle was in the care and control of the company I am a director of (and provided the address). I also said that it was used as a pool car for new car deliveries (supplied by the company). The log for the drivers was kept inside the car - and it was returned to the leasing company the day following the speeding (without taking that log out). The leasing company could not find/ send the log to us. A court summons arrived in my name. I phoned and asked why it was not in the company name - and was told to go to the hearing. Before the hearing, another summons arrived - in the company name and address. The police told me that both parties would be pursued due to not providing driver names and contact details. Now both hearings have been joined - and I have to attend court in a personal and director capacity. Is there anything I can do or should take along with me - and anything I should be aware of?
